This fabulous heirloom from Pingtung County in southern Taiwan from where it gets its name is characterised by its incredibly long slender purple fruit up to 45cm in length! High yielding it can produce up to as many as 20 fruits per plant. Extremely delicious with tender smooth textured flesh. For extra long straight fruits it is best to stake plants to allow fruit to hang as much as possible.
