(Mentha spicata) Perennial
A hardy perennial plant that produces aromatic leaves frequently used in flavouring roast meat, tea, toothpaste, confectionery, etc.
Green mint grows well in most garden soils from full sun to full shade, but preferably in partial shade. It can be cultivated as a pot plant as the spreading roots can be invasive in the garden. Pick leaves as needed and remove any flowering stalks as they emerge.
