A beautiful pink skinned heirloom winter radish from China introduced into Europe by early Jesuit missionaries. China Rose grows to 15cm long and 5cm in diameter, the flesh is white with a strong flavour good for salads and cooking.
Best for late summer and autumn plantings, radishes are ready to harvest in 40 days from sowing. Plants may bolt in warm and dry weather. This variety is also very popular for sprouting and micro-greens. Producing pretty pink stems and green leaves with a sweet and pungent radish flavour excellent in salads or on sandwiches.
