This beautiful heirloom Chinese winter radish bears the traditional name of “Xin li mei” meaning “Beauty Within The Heart”, to reflect the candy pink interior surrounded by a gleaming white skin with light green shoulders.
This very sweet and tasty radish is excellent for cooking, using in salads and as a colourful garnish.
Best for late summer and autumn plantings the 10cm round roots are ready to harvest in 50 days from planting.
Plants may bolt in warm and dry weather.
