Capsicum
(Capsicum annum) Originating from Central America, capsicums are highly nutritious and rich in vitamin a and c. Capsicums are tropical plants and require warm growing conditions and plenty of moisture. Capsicum seeds can be sown anytime and germinate best at 25-30c. However, in cold and frosty climates raise plants indoors in late winter, planting out after frost. In warmer climates plants persist as perennials.
